Gurucharan Singh was set to marry but experienced financial distress.

Mumbai, April 29 (Ozi news desk):  Gurucharan Singh, known for his role as Roshan Singh Sodhi in the popular sitcom ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’, has been reported missing for several days now. The actor, who was set to get married, was allegedly facing financial difficulties. On April 22, Singh left for Delhi’s domestic airport with the intention of traveling to Mumbai, but he never boarded the flight. The Delhi Police have confirmed that Singh withdrew Rs 7,000 from an ATM in Delhi, as captured by CCTV footage. They have also traced his mobile phone location, which indicates that he was in Delhi until April 24. However, his phone has been switched off since then. Singh’s co-actors from the show are baffled by his sudden disappearance. Mandar Chandwadkar, who played Atmaram on the show, expressed his surprise and mentioned that he had last met Singh at Dilip Joshi’s son’s wedding in December. Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal, who portrayed Taarak Mehta’s wife, hopes that there is a misunderstanding and that Singh is safe.
