New Delhi, April 29 (Ozi news desk): The Ministry of Home Affairs lodged a complaint with the Delhi Police, prompting them to register a case. The complaint was in relation to manipulated videos of Union Home Minister Amit Shah that were being circulated on various social media platforms. The Special Cell of the Delhi Police has taken charge of the case and has filed an FIR under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Information Technology Act. It is anticipated that arrests will be made across the country in connection with this matter. The complaint, filed by Sinku Sharan Singh, DC of the Indian Cybercrime Coordination Centre, highlighted that these doctored videos were being shared with the intention of inciting disharmony among communities, which could potentially disrupt public tranquility and order. The complainant also provided the links from which the videos were shared, enabling further investigation and action to be taken.
