This is in response to AAP candidate Kuldeep Kumar’s petition regarding alleged misconduct by the returning officer. The Bench, led by CJI DY Chandrachud, expressed concern over reports of horse-trading and criticized returning officer Anil Masih. The court has directed that the ballot papers be transported to the court by a judicial officer appointed by the Registrar General, with proper security arrangements in place for their safe transit and preservation.
