Rishabh Pant possesses natural leadership qualities and will continue to improve as a captain as time goes on.

New Delhi, May 15 (Ozi news desk):  Sourav Ganguly, the Director of Cricket for Delhi Capitals, believes that Rishabh Pant is a natural captain and his leadership abilities will improve with experience. After recovering from a car accident in December 2022, Pant returned to competitive cricket and resumed his role as captain for Delhi Capitals. Ganguly expressed his satisfaction with Pant’s performance throughout the season and praised his resilience in coming back from injury. While Pant has shown his astute captaincy skills in the IPL, he has also made some mistakes in decision-making. However, Ganguly believes that with time, Pant will become a better captain as he continues to make decisions based on his instincts. Despite having a mathematical chance, Delhi Capitals are unlikely to make it to the playoffs this season, but Ganguly commended the performances of pacers Mukesh Kumar and Rasikh Dar Salam, particularly highlighting Rasikh’s improvement over time. The Delhi wicket is challenging for bowlers, but Rasikh has shown significant progress.
