Punjab government to give compensation of sixty thousand per acre to farmers for damage caused by unseasonal hailstorm and rain, Banni Chahil.

Patiala (Parminder/Grewal) (Press Ki Taquat): Senior leader of Bharatiya Janata Party Punjab Sanjayinder Singh Bani Chahil former Chairman Block Samiti Patiala demanded from the Punjab Government that due to unseasonal rain and hailstorm in Punjab, the crops of the farmers have been severely damaged. He said that this is the third consecutive crop that has been damaged due to natural calamities, he said that the farmers are already under the burden of debt due to which many farmers have committed suicide. So Punjab government should immediately announce compensation of sixty thousand per acre to save the farmers from debt burden, besides free seeds, urea, DA AP through government societies for the upcoming cumin crop. Divya should be given to the farmers, apart from this, the farmers should also announce the loan waiver from the Laya Society for this year, so that the country’s food producing farmers can be saved from being buried under the burden of more debt.
