Voting was held on June 1, 2024 for the last phase of Lok Sabha elections for 13 seats of Punjab. Under this voting, Play Ways Senior Secondary School of Patiala city was made booth number 138, 139 model voting booth. Keeping in mind the extreme heat, School Chairman Dr. Rajdeep Singh made special arrangements for the comfort and facilities of the group of voters in the school. School gate no. 2 and 3, for the convenience of senior citizens, disabled persons and women, the school made wheel chairs, help desk and child care center in which the school teachers and prefect students helped the voters to reach the booth while following the law. Apart from this, special counters like selfie counter, signature counter and first aid counter etc. were made. To provide relief from the heat, the school made complete arrangements for water, salty lassi, Chhabeel and water Chhabeel from morning to evening. To encourage voters in the school, the first, second and third place voters were honored with mementos and medals, caps and pots were distributed to the first 500 voters. All these arrangements were made under the direct supervision of School Chairman Dr. Rajdeep Singh, Harleen Kaur and Principal Mrs. Raksha Verma and a group of teachers of the school contributed.
