Krishan Kumar Panthey, DSP/ Detective Patiala, Patiala Police conducted a special blockade led by Inspector Rahul Kaushal In-Charge CIA Staff Patiala, During that blockade Gurjinder Singh alias Guri S/o Gurtez Singh R/o village Nandgarh Ps Bhavanigarh District Sangrur was arrested with car Indica number PB03 – Q – 3040 and recovered 35 Boxes (Total 420 Bottles) named ‘First Choice’ Illicit Desi Liquor (For Sale In Haryana). Duggal further said that on 20/03/2021, a special operation was carried out by Sh. Navdeep Singh CIA Staff Patiala and Police Party of Anti-Narcotics Cell Patiala at T-Point Bus Stand, Village Kherki, While checking the vehicles coming and going, The occupant of Indica Car number PB03 – Q – 3040 color silver coming from Karhali Sahib side Gurjinder Singh alias Guri S/o Gurtez Singh resident of village Nandgarh Ps Bhavanigarh district Sangrur was captured and while checking 35 Boxes (Total 420 Bottles) named ‘First Choice’ Illicit Desi Liquor (For Sale In Haryana) were recovered from the car, On which FIR No. 16 dated 20/01/2021 U/S 61/1/14 Excise Act against Gurjinder Singh alias Guri was registered at Pasiana Police Station. S.S.P. Patiala further said that the arrested Gurjinder Singh alias Guri was being questioned as to where he had brought the exported liquor from Haryana. Gurjinder Singh alias Guri has been remanded in police custody for one day by the Hon’ble court and। he is being questioned in depth.
