Karachi, March 21 (ozi news desk): The Pakistani Army has reported that two soldiers were killed and eight Baloch terrorists were eliminated when security forces prevented a group of heavily armed insurgents from attacking the Gwadar Port Authority complex in Balochistan province.
The port complex, which houses government and paramilitary offices, is a key component of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Project. The military’s media wing, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), stated that the terrorists attempted to enter the Port Authority Colony but were successfully repelled by security forces. In the ensuing exchange of fire, all eight terrorists were neutralized.
