In a recent study, it has been claimed that many people may also face ‘face blindness’ due to Corona. In a study published in the Kotex journal, ‘prosopagnosia’ i.e . face blindness has been reported for the first time after Corona. Earlier it was known that corona can cause several neurological problems, including smell and taste. Along with this, there may be problems related to attention, memory, speech and language. Researchers at Dartmouth College in the US describe the case of a 28-year-old part-time painter named Eni in their study. In March, 2020, two months after recovering from Covid, Annie got re-infected. After some time he felt difficulty in face recognition and navigation. Mary Lou Kessler, a psychologist and member of the Social Perception Lab at Dartmouth, said that Annie now relies on the voice of her acquaintances to identify them. He also experienced navigational deficits along with prosopagnosia. To test it on other people, the team tested the data of 54 people. Most of the candidates who were suffering from Corona for a long time said that their perception capacity had decreased. This is something people should be aware of, the researchers said.
