शिरोमणि कमेटी के पूर्व प्रधान कृपाल सिंह बडूंगर की तरफ से मौजूदा प्रधान द्वारा लगाए जा रहे दोषों को बेबुनियाद बताया। उन्होंने कहा कि डेरों में गुरबानी की तुक तोड़ मरोड़ कर कौम को गिरा बताने वाले मौजूदा प्रधान को ऐसे दोष लगाने शोभा नहीं देते, शिरोमणि कमेटी द्वारा भर्ती के लिए कोई नियम ही नहीं बनाऐ गए तो नियम छिक्के पर टांगने का कोई तुक ही नहीं बनता। उन्होंने कहा कि बिना किसी वजह से उनको बदनाम किया जा रहा है। बडूंगर का कहना है कि अगर जांच ही करवानी है तो किसी रिटायर जज साहब से करवाई जाये।
