It is hereby informed that due to heavy rainfall in upstream areas of Ambala and Kala Amb, the water level of the Tangri River has risen close to the danger mark in Ambala and is expected to rise in Patiala District within the next 10–12 hours.
Accordingly, an alert is being issued immediately for Devigarh areas.
Villages likely to be affected:
•Right Side (R/S): Mehmodpur Rudki, Devinagar, Harigarh, Rohar Jagir, Lelan Jagir, Dudhangujran, Adaltiwala, Maghar Sahib
•Left Side (L/S): Mohalgarh, Khansa, Rattakhera, Aujan, Khatauli, Ganeshpur, Kharabgarh, Bibipur, Jodhpur, Budhmor, Sadikpur Biran
Residents are advised to remain vigilant, avoid going near the river, and follow all official instructions.
