Uni of Worcester soon to partner with CGC Landran
Mohali 24 November (Gurnam Sagar) : After the UK Government announced the Post Study Work Visa for the International students which
permit them to work for upto 2 years after completing their degrees, there has been a rapid increase
in the intake of the international students. Earlier the graduates with bachelor’s or master’s degrees
were allowed to work for only four months. This was stated by Head of International
Partnerships, University of Worcester, John Gardener who was here at Chandigarh Group of
Colleges, Landran. Such welcoming policies are bringing back the interest of international students in
UK and also increasing their job prospects, he added.
The University of Worcester which welcomes more than 700 international students every year from
70 different nationalities has exchange Partners from USA, Europe, China, Australia, New Zealand,
Japan is now foreseeing to become a partner with CGC. John encouraged Indian students to apply
for the study exchange programs wherein they would be enrolled with the University of Worcester
after completing one year from the partner institute. He was accompanied by Anand Patil, Regional
Manager, Middle East, North Africa & South Asia, University of Worcester.
