Karachi, April 9 (Ozi news desk): On Tuesday, police in Pakistan’s Balochistan province reported that two separate bomb blasts resulted in the deaths of at least three individuals, including a policeman, and left 20 others injured. The first incident occurred at a mosque in the Quetta district, where a blast during Maghrib prayers claimed the life of a policeman and injured 15 others.
The second blast took place in a marketplace in Khuzdar town, killing two people and injuring five others. Both explosions were believed to have been caused by improvised explosive devices (IEDs) planted on motorbikes and detonated remotely.
While no banned outfit has claimed responsibility for the attacks, there has been an increase in terror attacks in the province in recent weeks. The Balochistan Liberation Army has claimed responsibility for three major strikes in Mach town, Gwadar port, and a naval base in Turbat.
