In a statement, Trump emphasized that their leadership would be instrumental in his administration’s efforts to dismantle bureaucratic structures, reduce unnecessary regulations, eliminate wasteful spending, and reorganize federal agencies. He projected that their initiatives would be completed by July 4, 2026, highlighting that a streamlined and more effective government would serve as a significant “gift” to the nation in celebration of the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.
