Chandigarh, December 29:
Trials for the selection of Basketball, Hockey, Kho Kho and Football teams of Punjab for the 6th Khel India Youth Games will be held on 2nd January at 11 am. Khel India Youth Games will be held from 19th to 31st January 2024 in Tamil Nadu.
The spokesman of the sports department said that trials for the selection of Hockey (Boys and Girls) will be held at Olympian Surjit Hockey Stadium, Jalandhar on 2nd January at 11 am, Basketball (Boys and Girls) at Guru Nanak Stadium Ludhiana on 2nd January at 11 am, Kho Kho (Girls) and Football (Boys) will be held at Polo Ground Patiala on 2nd January at 11 am.
The spokesperson further said that the players wishing to participate in the trials should have a date of birth on or after January 1, 2005.
