Chandigarh, September 3 (Ozi news desk): In a tragic incident in Haryana’s Jind district, eight individuals lost their lives and ten others sustained injuries when a truck collided with a parked vehicle that was transporting devotees, according to police reports released on Tuesday. The unfortunate event occurred shortly after midnight in Bidharana village along the Hisar national highway. Inspector Kuldeep, the Station House Officer of Sadar Narwana, shared that the injured were promptly rushed to medical facilities in Jind and Agroha, located in Hisar. The group was en route from Kurukshetra district to a temple in Gogamedi, Rajasthan, when the accident unfolded. The SHO explained that the truck crashed into the light commercial vehicle while the devotees had stopped for a brief break, leaving their vehicle stationary at the time. Among the deceased were two women and a teenager, while the ten injured individuals are reportedly in stable condition. Authorities have initiated a case regarding the incident to investigate further.
