Chandigarh, November 3 (Press Ki Taquat)- Haryana Government has started ‘Haryana Matrushakti Entrepreneurship Scheme’ from the year 2021-22 through Haryana Mahila Vikas Nigam to make women self-reliant and economically empowered.

Giving information, spokesperson of Haryana Mahila Vikas Nigam said that the corporation is providing financial assistance in the form of subsidy for the upliftment of women and for them to establish their own enterprises, so that they can become economically successful in areas like agriculture, industry, trade. Can become self-reliant.

He said that under this scheme, loans up to Rs 3 lakh are provided through banks to permanent resident women/girls of Haryana from rural and urban areas, whose annual income does not exceed Rs 5 lakh and their age is 18 to 60 years. Be between. Under this scheme, 7 percent interest subsidy amount is given by the corporation for 3 years if the applicant pays the installments on time.

The spokesperson said that under this scheme, various activities like auto rickshaw, small luggage vehicle, three wheeler, taxi, salon, beauty parlor, tailoring, boutique, photo copy shop, papad making, pickle making, confectionery shop are available. Loans are provided to women for food stalls, ice cream making units, biscuit making, handloom, bag making, canteen service etc.
