More than half a dozen airport directors, including those in Delhi and Jaipur, have received emails threatening to bomb airports and planes. Sources said that the email came at around 10:23 on Wednesday night, in which it was claimed that bombs would be blasted at Delhi, Jaipur, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Mumbai, Chennai and Ahmedabad airports. Panic spread at the Jaipur airport after receiving a threatening email on the official customer care ID. On receiving the information, the CISF and the local police started investigating the airport and the flights departing from it. No suspicious items were found during the search and the CISF has now lodged a written complaint at the Jaipur Airport Police Station.
