Former Punjab Congress President Navjot Singh Sidhu attacked Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and the state’s AAP government and said that those who claimed to make Punjab corruption-free were themselves involved in the liquor scam. He was talking to reporters here today. Along with this, Sidhu called former Congress MLA and Ferozepur district president Kulbir Singh Zira as his younger brother. It may be mentioned that Zira had demanded Sidhu’s expulsion from the party a few days ago.
When asked about the opposition within the Congress party, Mr. Sidhu said that there is development only through opposition. They never talk about any workers because their fight is not personal. He said that he will continue to raise the voice of the people of Punjab only by staying in the Congress. He said that their fight is to establish Lok Raj in Punjab. The former president of Punjab Congress said that the present government is failing in the eyes of the people. Mr. Sidhu said that his aim is to bring people’s rule in Punjab and eliminate the mafia completely. Currently, Punjab is in debt and the Chief Minister is traveling in a helicopter. Aiming at the AAP leaders, Navjot Singh Sidhu said that today the AAP leaders of Punjab are not working to save the state but to bring it down further.
