The world’s population has increased by 7.5 million this year and the total world population is estimated to exceed eight billion on New Year’s Day. According to data released by the US Census Bureau, the rate of population growth worldwide last year was less than one percent. By the beginning of 2024 it is estimated that 4.3 people will be born and two people will die every second worldwide.
The world’s population grew by 75 million this year, the total population is expected to cross 8 billion in 2024.
