Chandigarh, February 15 (Sumit Joshi) : Today the second group of individuals deported from the United States has arrived back in their home country. Among the 119 people deported 67 are from Punjab. This event highlights the ongoing issue of immigration and deportation that affects many families. For those returning the journey home may bring mixed emotions including relief and uncertainty about the future. This flight will arrive at Amritsar’s Sri Guru Ram Dass Jee International Airport on Saturday night. According to senior police officers the expected landing time is around 10 PM. The return of these deportees reflects ongoing efforts to manage immigration issues. Local authorities are prepared to assist the individuals upon their arrival.
