United Nations, April 16 (Ozi news desk): The head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) expressed his concerns about the potential targeting of Iranian nuclear facilities by Israel. However, he assured that inspections of Iranian facilities would resume on Tuesday. In response to a missile and drone attack by Iran, Israel’s military chief stated that his country would retaliate.
Allies have called for restraint to prevent further escalation in the Middle East. IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi explained that Iran temporarily closed its nuclear facilities for security reasons, but they have since reopened. He emphasized that the closure did not affect the agency’s inspection activities.
