Chandigarh, 08-05-2023 (Press Ki Taquat)– The Haryana government has made adequate arrangements to bring back the students of the state who had gone to study in the violence-hit area of Manipur. Chief Minister Mr. Manohar Lal is taking updates of every situation of Manipur. He has given clear instructions to the authorities to make full arrangements to bring the students as soon as possible. The government has prepared the list of students. According to the information received so far, 16 students are receiving education in various institutions in Manipur, according to their wishes, they will be brought back.
The Chief Minister has assured all possible support from the state government and apart from the 16 students, if information is received about any other students, they will also be brought back safely.
An official spokesperson while giving information in this regard said that the officials of the Chief Minister’s Office of Haryana are in constant touch with the officials of the Chief Minister’s Office and the Chief Secretary in Manipur and are taking updates of every situation. The Chief Secretary of Manipur said that all the students of Haryana are safe here and they are being provided all facilities. There is no need to panic at all.
The spokesperson said that according to the information received so far, 5 students from Haryana are receiving education in NIT, Manipur, 8 students in IIT, Manipur and 3 students in NSU, Manipur. All arrangements are being made to bring the students back to Haryana. is Since, other states are also evacuating the students of their states from Manipur, so according to the arrangement of flights and air traffic, the Haryana government is also considering Kolkata to Delhi route.
The spokesperson said that just as the government had made tireless efforts to evacuate its citizens trapped in Ukraine and brought the citizens back to their homeland safely, similarly the students from the Hisar-affected area of Manipur will be brought home safely.
