Rohtak, March 6 (ozi news desk): A sarv khap panchayat held in Titoli village today issued a 10-day ultimatum to the Centre and state government to meet the farmers’ demands, warning of escalated protests if their demands are not met.
Additionally, an 11-member committee of khap leaders was formed to unite the factions of the Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) and strengthen the protest. The committee plans to hold a meeting with both factions in the near future.
Furthermore, the panchayat decided to organize indefinite dharnas in all 10 districts where the khap holds significant influence, with the aim of increasing pressure on the government.
