The Punjab Government has reshuffled six IAS officers.

The Punjab Government has announced the transfer of six IAS officers and one PCS officer today. Jitendra Jorwal and Girish Dayalan, who were previously without assignments, have been appointed as Taxation Commissioner and Additional Commissioner Excise and Director General of School Education, respectively. Jorwal had been unassigned for nearly a month, while Dayalan was transferred last week without an immediate posting. Additionally, Rajiv Prashar has been appointed Secretary of the Punjab State Human Rights Commission, Vinay Bublani is now the Commissioner for the Patiala division, Mohinder Pal has taken on the role of Secretary for Industries and Commerce, and GPS Sahota has been designated as the Executive Director of the Punjab Backward Classes Land Development and Finance Corporation.
