The Punjab Congress has convened a three-day parliamentary level meeting in Patiala today. The meeting is focused on deliberating the candidates for the party elections.

The Punjab Congress in-charge, Devendra Yadav, along with the state president, Amarinder Singh Raja Warring, opposition leader, Pratap Bajwa, and executive president, Bharat Bhushan Ashu, attended a meeting. However, Navjot Singh Sidhu was not invited to this meeting. His close associate, Manasimrat Singh Sherry Riad, confirmed this information.

A discussion and deliberation will take place regarding the Patiala Lok Sabha seat at the community hall in Patiala. After that, at 1 pm, a effigy of Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma will be burnt. Following this, a discussion and deliberation will take place in the meeting called at JG Resort on Sangrur Road in Sangrur regarding the Sangrur Lok Sabha seat.
