Originating from the village of Zafarnama in Moga, Dhaliwal has previously demonstrated his investigative prowess by successfully solving the high-profile murder of international kabaddi player Sandeep Nangal Ambian, where his team apprehended the gang responsible for the crime. In the Moosewala case, Dhaliwal led police teams from Delhi that managed to identify and arrest three of the six shooters involved—Priyavrat Fauji, Ankit Sersa, and Kashish.
Additionally, the Delhi Police played a crucial role in locating the fourth shooter, Deepak Mundi, who was apprehended by the Punjab Police near the Nepal border, showcasing the collaborative efforts of law enforcement in addressing serious criminal activities.
