12-05-2023 (Press Ki Taquat)– A hearing has been held in the High Court on the issue of Navjot Singh Sidhu’s security. The High Court has asked the Punjab government to file its reply by Thursday in any case.

Navjot Singh had sought the return of Z+ security. In this regard, a petition has been filed in the High Court. The Punjab government had sought two weeks more time on this petition.

The government said that the report of the central agencies has not come yet. For this, 2 weeks time should be given.

The High Court told the Punjab government that it is trying to delay the matter. 2 weeks time will not be given. The government should file its reply in this matter next Thursday.

The High Court then said, without asking how the protection was reduced.
