Chandigarh, February 17 (ozi news desk): The Bharti Kisan Union (Ekta Ugrahan) has planned to organize dharnas outside the residences of three senior BJP leaders in Punjab as part of their ongoing protest.
In addition to this, they will also hold protests at toll plazas in the state to support the farmers’ ‘Delhi Chalo’ call. The farmers have been staying put at the border points of Punjab and Haryana, demanding the acceptance of their demands.
Meanwhile, the Bhartiya Kisan Union (Charuni) from Haryana will conduct a tractor rally in solidarity with the protesting farmers. Union ministers and farmer leaders are scheduled to meet for the fourth round of talks on Sunday, following inconclusive discussions on previous occasions.
The Haryana Police has also released video clips showing farmers pelting stones and attempting to provoke security personnel at the Shambhu border.
