The death toll has risen to 14, while 50 people have been injured in a train accident on the Howrah-Chennai line in Andhra Pradesh’s Vizianagaram district on Sunday. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy will visit the accident site and also meet them. The injured are undergoing treatment in Vijayanagaram. At Kantakapalle, about 40 km from Visakhapatnam, the Plasa passenger train collided with the Raigad passenger train from behind at around 7 pm on Sunday, due to which three of its coaches derailed. In this accident, the driver of the Raigad passenger train and the Plasa train Gehard also died.
