Chandigarh, April 16 (Ozi news desk): The Aam Aadmi Party revealed four additional candidates for the Lok Sabha elections in Punjab on Tuesday, including former MLA Pawan Kumar Tinu for the Jalandhar reserve constituency.
Apart from Tinu, the Aam Aadmi Party also selected three party MLAs for the upcoming elections: Jagdeep Singh Kaka Brar for Ferozepur, Amansher Singh Kalsi for Gurdaspur, and Ashok Parashar Pappi for Ludhiana. The announcement was made by the party’s national general secretary Sandeep Pathak in a post on X, with Brar, Kalsi, and Pappi holding assembly seats in Muktsar, Batala, and Ludhiana Central respectively.
Tinu recently switched from the Shiromani Akali Dal to join AAP, and with these new candidates, the AAP has now finalized its choices for all 13 parliamentary seats in Punjab. The AAP, a member of the opposition INDIA bloc, is running independently in the parliamentary elections in Punjab.
