New Delhi, February 19 (ozi news desk):  The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has stated that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will not be present for questioning by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Monday regarding a money-laundering case related to the Delhi excise policy.

The party has deemed the agency’s repeated summonses to Kejriwal as “illegal” and has urged the ED to await the court’s decision instead.

Kejriwal’s attorney filed an application stating that the Budget Session of the Delhi Assembly started on February 15 and will run until the first week of March. The application also mentioned that Kejriwal will personally appear in court on the next hearing date, which is March 16.

In the meantime, official sources revealed that the Enforcement Directorate is likely to issue new summons to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal regarding the money-laundering case linked to the excise policy.
