ਕੇਦਾਰਨਾਥ ਮੰਦਿਰ (ਉਚਾਈ 3,583 ਮੀਟਰ) ਚੋਰਬਾੜੀ ਝੀਲ ਤੋਂ ਥੋੜ੍ਹਾ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਮੰਦਾਕਿਨੀ ਨਦੀ ਦੇ ਕੰਢੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਥਿਤ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤ ‘ਸਕੰਦ ਪੁਰਾਣ’ ‘ਚ ਵੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਮਿਲਦੀ ਹੈ। ਮੰਦਾਕਿਨੀ ਵਾਦੀ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਗਲੇਸ਼ੀਅਰ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੀ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ, ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਉਹ ਗਲੇਸ਼ੀਅਰ ਪਿਘਲ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਮੰਦਾਕਿਨੀ ਨਦੀ ਕੇਦਾਰਨਾਥ, ਰਾਮਬਾੜਾ, ਗੌਰੀਕੁੰਡ, ਉਕੀਮੱਠ, ਗੁਪਤਕਾਸ਼ੀ, ਚੰਦਨਪੁਰੀ, ਤਿਲਵਾੜਾ ਤੇ ਰੁਦਰਪ੍ਰਯਾਗ ਜਿਹੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਤੀਰਥ–ਅਸਥਾਨਾਂ ‘ਚੋਂ ਲੰਘਦੀ ਹੋਈ ਅੰਤ ‘ਚ ਅਲਕਨੰਦਾ ਨਦੀ ‘ਚ ਜਾ […]
