Patiala, 15-03-23 (Press Ki Taquat): Soni Blood Donor Society has started a sewing and embroidery center at Daulatpur, striving for the betterment of the service of humanity in silence. President of the society Mrs. Amarjit Kaur and her son Mr. Varinder Singh said that Mr. Bhagat Singh ji started Soni Blood Donor Club to send rations to the needy people at their homes, fees of very needy students, books, copies of uniforms, blood donation camps from time to time. Lagake organized blood transfusions for thalassemia children, and started sewing and embroidery centers to provide manual labor to needy girls. All the members of Soni Blood Donor Club and social workers of the city were also present on this occasion. Teacher sewing machines have also been made available for this center by the club. Mrs. Ramandeep Kaur, staff members and principal of Soni Public School expressed their thanks and said that migrant people live in this area and do hard labor, so this center will be more beneficial for their girls and women.
