Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan’s inaugural significant role as an actor in the television series ‘Fauji’, which originally premiered in 1989, is set to be re-broadcast on Doordarshan, featuring all 13 episodes of the acclaimed show. The re-broadcasting will begin on October 24, Thursday, with episodes scheduled to air from Monday to Thursday on DD National, providing an opportunity for fans to revisit this landmark series. Kanchan Prasad, the Director General of Doordarshan, remarked in a statement that ‘Fauji’ remains a timeless classic that continues to resonate with viewers. He emphasized that as anticipation builds for ‘Fauji 2’, airing the original series serves as an ideal means to reconnect with the show’s origins and honor its enduring legacy prior to the unveiling of its next installment.
