ਜਿਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਗੁਰਦਾਸਪੁਰ ਜ਼ਿਲੇ ‘ਚ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਡਿਊਟੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਰਾਬ ਦੀਆਂ ਫੈਕਟਰੀਆਂ ‘ਚ ਸਪਲਾਈ ਮੌਨੀਟਰ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਡਿਊਟੀ ਮੈਜਿਸਟਰੇਟ ਵਜੋਂ ਲਗਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਸਕੂਲ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿਜੈ ਇੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਗਲਾ ਦੇ ਧਿਆਨ ‘ਚ ਆਇਆ ਤਾਂ ਉਨਾਂ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਇਹ ਡਿਊਟੀਆਂ ਰੱਦ ਕਰਵਾ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ। ਕੈਬਨਿਟ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਿਵਾਏ ਐਮਰਜੈਂਸੀ ਕੋਵਿਡ ਡਿਊਟੀ ਤੋਂ, ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਡਿਊਟੀਆਂ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਕੰਮ ਲਈ ਨਾ ਲਗਾਈਆਂ ਜਾਣ। ਉਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ ਸੂਬੇ ‘ਚ ਸਕੂਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਖੁੱਲ ਰਹੇ ਪਰ ਫਿਰ ਵੀ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਮਾਧਿਅਮਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਆਨਲਾਈਨ ਕਲਾਸਾਂ ਲੈ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਆਪਣੀ ਡਿਊਟੀ ਤਨਦੇਹੀ ਨਾਲ ਨਿਭਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦਾ ਹਰੇਕ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਤੇ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਾ ਪਾਤਰ ਹੈ।
