Patiala, August 14 (Ozi news desk): Police DAV Public School held a function to celebrate Independence Day today. To mark this day, a special assembly was conducted by Zinnia House in which Sehajpreet of Class V shared a speech regarding the importance of the day. Other students of classes III to V recited patriotic poems. Students of Class V also sang a beautiful song, stressing on the value of unity. Student of all classes presented different art forms. A dance was presented by the tiny tots to remind everyone of the sacrifices made by freedom fighters. Officiating Principal Sukhjit Kaur shared her views and motivated all the students to actively participate in extra-curricular programmes and activities. She urged everyone to remain determined in their work and achieve their goals with dedication.
