Chandigarh, October 17 (Press Ki Taquat)- A tribute to the Chief Minister of Haryana Shri Manohar Lal for the historic decision taken by all Scheduled Castes Welfare Associations to give 20 percent reservation to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes in promotion to Group A and B category posts. The program will be organized. The felicitation ceremony will be held on the occasion of Maharishi Valmiki Jayanti on 28th October, 2023 at Ambedkar Bhawan, Sector-12, Panchkula.

This decision was taken during a meeting called by Haryana Cooperation Minister Shri Banwari Lal with the representatives of Scheduled Caste Welfare Associations. Many MLAs and MPs of the state were also present in the meeting.

During the meeting, the Cooperative Minister said that the state government has given the benefit of 20 percent reservation for the officials of Group A and B categories of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes. This program will be organized by various welfare organizations representing Scheduled Castes in honor of the Chief Minister.

He said that the present government is dedicated to ensure the welfare of everyone following the principles of Antyodaya.

In the meeting, MP Krishna Panwar, MP Mrs. Sunita Duggal, MLA Satya Prakash Jaravata, Bishambar Valmiki, Laxman Napa, Jagadish Nayyar, President, Ambedkar Society, Sector-12, Panchkula, Shri. Suresh Morkha and other dignitaries were also present.
