Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said Sikh gurus taught Indians to live with dignity. Speaking at the ‘Veer Bal Diwas’ event to commemorate the martyrdom of the younger sahibzadas of Guru Gobind Singh, Modi said the sacrifices of the Sahibzadas are being remembered not only in India but across the world through events in countries like the US, Australia and New Zealand. He appealed to the religious leaders to launch an agitation against drugs. Veer Bal Diwas was celebrated by Baba Zorawar Singh, the younger Sahibzadas of Guru Gobind Singh.
