Patiala, 11th July 2025: As part of the Government of India’s mission to provide employment opportunities to the youth and strengthen citizen welfare, the Rozgar Mela, a nationwide recruitment drive for 10 lakh personnel, will be formally launched by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on 12th July 2025 at 10:30 AM through video conferencing. The mega recruitment initiative will be held simultaneously at 47 centers across the country, including Patiala Locomotive Works (PLW), Patiala.
During this significant event, appointment letters will be handed over to 51,000 newly inducted recruits selected for various departments of the Central Government all over India. The Hon’ble Prime Minister will also address the new appointees virtually and encourage them to serve the nation with dedication and integrity.
At the PLW center, Hon’ble Shri Ravneet Singh Ji, Minister of State for Railways and Minister of State for Food Processing Industries, will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest. He will personally distribute appointment letters to 216 candidates selected from various Central Government departments at PLW Auditorium.
This initiative reflects the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s continued commitment to ensuring timely recruitment and filling of vacancies in a mission mode. Ministries and departments across the Government have been directed to accelerate the recruitment process for sanctioned posts to support youth empowerment & good governance.
