Congress leader Rahul Gandhi today met Olympic bronze medallist Bajrang Punia and other wrestlers in Haryana’s Jhajjar in the wake of a controversy over the selection of Sanjay Singh, a confidant of Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, as the president of the Wrestling Federation of India. Bajrang had last week announced to return his Padma Shri award in protest against Sanjay Singh’s victory in the Sangh elections.
