Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker, S. Kultar Singh Sandhwan, expressed deep sorrow over the unfortunate demise of Bibi Harjitinder Kaur.
In a press communique issued here, the Speaker said that Bibi Harjitinder Kaur, the wife of S. Jagjit Singh Dallewal, president of Bharati Kisan Union (Ekta Sidhupur), recently passed away.
Describing her as fair-minded and forward-thinking, S. Sandhwan said that she played a significant role in the farmers’ struggle, and her contributions will be eternally remembered with respect.
The Speaker prayed to almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul and to provide strength to the family.
