Patiala, 16 August (Press Ki Taquat Bureau): PSTCL was the Chief Guest on the eve of the celebration of 75th Independence Day by PSTCL. On this occasion CA. Vinod Kumar Bansal, Dir / F & C, Er. Yogesh Tandon, Dir / Tech. and Er. Anil Kaplush Independent Director were also present as Guests of Honor. The Chief Guest CA. Sanjeev Kumar Sharma, Dir/Admin. commenced the event with the hoisting of the National Flag followed by the National Anthem.
The Chief Guest shared the importance of the day and described the achievements of PSTCL like Automation of Grids, promotion of various cadres etc. Also, he applauded the Ghar Ghar Rozgar Mission, launched by Capt. Amrinder Singh Hon’ble Chief Minister of Punjab, under which PSTCL has completed the online recruitment test for more than 1000 vacancies of various cadres. He also expressed his gratitude to Sh. Anurag Aggarwal, IAS, CMD, PSTCL for his support and giving the clearance pertaining to recruitment matters in record time. He also lauded the organization of Covid Vaccination Camps by PSTCL.
To mark the occasion, PSTCL celebrated Independence Day enthusiastically.Cultural program was organized which ended with refreshment and distribution of sweets. The ceremony was attended by senior officers & other employees of PSTCL. The event was organized strictly keeping in view the Covid-19 restrictions imposed by the Government of Punjab.
