Chandigarh, July 26 (Ozi news desk): Punjab Governor Banwarilal Purohit expressed his views on Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s criticism regarding his visits to border districts, emphasizing that he was simply carrying out his constitutional responsibilities. Purohit questioned why the Chief Minister seemed apprehensive of him, highlighting that he only communicates with the Prime Minister and the Home Minister.
Purohit disclosed that he had previously offered his resignation due to a perceived lack of rapport with CM Mann, but his resignation was not accepted. He clarified that he harbored no ill feelings towards Mann, acknowledging the significant age gap between them and expressing a willingness to engage in constructive dialogue whenever they meet.
