Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the LNJP hospital on Wednesday to meet with individuals injured in the tragic blast near the Red Fort in Delhi, which resulted in 12 fatalities. Upon returning from Bhutan, the Prime Minister went directly to the hospital to offer his support to the victims of the incident.

Prime Minister Modi is set to convene a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) at 5:30 PM today, following a devastating explosion near the Red Fort metro station that resulted in 12 fatalities and numerous injuries. In response to this high-intensity blast, the Delhi Police have heightened security measures across the capital, implementing extensive vehicle checks at all entry and exit points, with a significant deployment of police and paramilitary forces to ensure public safety.
Earlier on Tuesday, PM Modi expressed his determination to ensure that those responsible for the car blast are held accountable, emphasizing that investigative agencies will thoroughly pursue the case. Speaking at an event in Thimpu to commemorate the 70th birthday of Bhutan’s former king, he conveyed his sorrow over the incident, stating that he remained in constant communication with relevant agencies throughout the night. He reassured the nation of its solidarity with the victims’ families and affirmed that the perpetrators will face justice.
