Hoshiarpur, May 30 (Ozi news desk): Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized the need for a full majority government at the Centre, stating that it was time to achieve a hat-trick after decades. Speaking at an election rally in Hoshiarpur district, he invoked Guru Ravidas as his inspiration for working towards the welfare of the poor. Hoshiarpur, known as ‘Chotti Kashi’, holds significance as Guru Ravi Das’ ‘tapobhoomi’, and Modi expressed his pride in concluding the poll campaign in this sacred land. He highlighted that the people of India have chosen to elect the Modi government for the third time, and the country is filled with new hopes and dreams. The Prime Minister emphasized that the development achieved in the last 10 years is unparalleled and that the welfare of the poor remains a top priority for his government, with Guru Ravidas serving as a significant inspiration. Modi also expressed his wish for the Adampur airport in Jalandhar district to be named after Guru Ravidas. Taking a dig at the Congress, he accused the party of excelling in corruption. Furthermore, he criticized the AAP government in Punjab for their alleged detrimental impact on industry and farming in the state.
