Karnal, June 8 (Ozi news desk): Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini distributed HAPPY cards today as part of the Haryana Antyodaya Parivar Parivahan Yojana. The distribution took place at a state-level event held at the Dr Mangal Sen Auditorium in Karnal city. The HAPPY card, also known as the National Common Mobility Card (NCMC), offers free travel of up to 1,000 km per year for low-income families in government buses. This card not only facilitates seamless travel in public transport but also promotes financial inclusion by allowing digital payments. Chief Minister Saini emphasized that the NCMC cards have been provided to families with an annual income of less than Rs 1 lakh, benefiting a total of 24 lakh families and 84 lakh individuals across the state. He expressed his belief that this initiative will greatly enhance the lives of the beneficiaries by providing them with much-needed mobility support and improving their overall quality of life.
