A Global Village is a concept that describes how modern technologies have made the world more interconnected. it implies that people worldwide can share information and experiences even when they are not physically close. It was a golden opportunity for Play Ways Senior Secondary School to organize this global village under sincere guidance of the chairman of the school Dr. Rajdeep Singh, Director Mrs. Harleen kaur and Principal Mrs. Raksha Verma with the collaboration of AIESEC in the school premises on 13th September 2024 (Friday). Twenty countries along with their delegates the school students and the staff members took great initiative in this event. Chief Dignitaries who were invited to grace the event were Mr. Justice Gurbir singh (Judge high court of Punjab and Haryana), Sdr. Amardeep Singh Rai (IPS). ADGP Punjab, MR. Nilkanth S Avadh (IAS) (Principal Secretary Water Supply and Sanitation), Mr. Ranjodh Singh Hadana – PRTC Chairman, Madam Deepika Singla Principal, Advocate, Judge family court, Shri Aditya Dachalwal Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Patiala, Ms. Rupinderjit Chahal, District and Session Judge, Punjab, Ms. Manni Arora, Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM), Mr. Daljit singh Mangat (IAS) Divisional commissioner, Patiala. Under the sincere guidance of the chairman of the school Dr. Rajdeep Singh playwians enthusiastically participated and worked whole heartedly. All the expenses were made by school management. There was no burden of expenses on the parents and staff members. People from all over Patiala visited and praised a lot the parents of the students were heartily thankful to the management to give this platform to gain knowledge without travelling and expenses. With God’s grace it was a grand success for the school.
