Patiala,28-02-23(Press Ki Taquat): National Science Day was celebrated at Patiala’s SD Model High School Sarhandi Bazar under the leadership of Principal Mrs. Uma Sharma. Uma Sharma said that she herself is a science teacher and keeps children interested in science and technology and her students always excel in science, mathematics and other subjects. He said that Dr. Chandra Shekhar Bankta Raman was born on 7 November 1888 in Madras and under the blessing and guidance of his father who was a science teacher, he continued to experiment with science at the school level and made new discoveries in the environment through science. On this occasion Mr. Kaka Ram Verma, Retired, District Training Officer, Rand Cross, Bharat Ratna Dr. Abdul Kalam Sahib also shared information and wished everyone health, health, strength, patience, peace, first aid, CPR, service to the injured. He gave information about maintenance, fire safety, proper training of cylinders, reducing accidents and saving the safety of the home and family in times of crisis. Mr. Kaka Ram Verma informed about the importance of disaster management, civil defense, first aid, CPR training to help the victims during the devastating earthquake in Turkey and Syria and natural and man-made disasters happening every day.
