Today, on the last day of Shahidi Jod Mel, lakhs of devotees paid obeisance to the martyrs of Chamkaur Garhi at Gurdwara Sri Katalgarh Sahib, Gurdwara Sri Garhi Sahib and other guru houses. In the gurughars, devotion and respect among the devotees was seen. While complete arrangements were also made by the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, langars were installed by the sangats of different villages of the area for the service of the sangat. Dastan e Shahadat also remained the center of attraction during the entire Jod Mel, where thousands of devotees witnessed and felt the rich martyrdom heritage of Sikh history. During Jod Mel, Youth Clubs Coordinating Committee and some other organizations organized blood donation camps where hundreds of youths paid tribute to the martyrs by donating blood.
